When I think of a revolution, I think of tumultuous change, individual action and transformation. One such revolution that fundamentally changed Western society was the Industrial Revolution that took place in the 19th Century.

Urbanisation grew rapidly as rural farming and agrarian practices became outmoded by machine and technological advancement. Progress in scientific knowledge became exciting and threatening and electricity became a dominant and practical tool. With these advancements came mass production and manufactured goods, as numerous factories opened providing more job opportunities.

How, in any way, does this link to Rice Revolution?

Revolution Conference in less than 7 days. What are you expecting?

As I look back into the earlier times of planning for the Conference, I remember speaking with Adrian about what we expect out of the Conference. This expectance is not from the music that will be played, not from the message that will be preached, not from the lighting that will create the atmosphere, but expectance of what God is going to do in each individual’s lives.

Jessica Watson is one crazy teenager: she… did something. She is now the youngest to sail solo and unassisted around the world. On Saturday she arrived back in Sydney Harbour receiving a hero’s welcome from the Prime Minister, the NSW Premier, Channel Ten and tens of thousands keen on celebrating the milestone. I think some are shocked that a teenager could accomplish so much so young. It really is an incredible feat.
